Project Description
In this project, we introduced a Japanese contemporary café concept that blends a minimalist zen atmosphere with warm and elegant modern touches. The interior features natural wood materials, soft color palettes, and diffused lighting to create a calm and comfortable environment, aligned with the Japanese all-day dining concept. The open tea bar serves as a key design element, offering an interactive experience while reinforcing the café’s identity centered around tea and casual dining. The spatial layout was designed to be open and fluid, incorporating a mix of communal and private seating to accommodate different visitor needs, from casual gatherings to more intimate dining experiences. The use of natural textures and warm lighting enhances the clean, modern atmosphere while maintaining a welcoming feel. Through this project, we successfully created Boyutei as a Japanese café that is comfortable, serene, and full of character, while preserving a warm interpretation of minimalist Japanese design.
