Project Description

We successfully completed reinstatement and demolition works at a retail unit in Hillion Mall, with the objective of restoring the unit to its base condition in accordance with building management requirements and commercial mall standards. Throughout the project, we maintained close coordination with Far East Malls as the mall management to ensure all works complied with the required regulations. The scope of work included the systematic dismantling of existing interior elements, such as floor finishes, plumbing fixtures, and built-in components that were no longer required. During the demolition phase, the existing flooring was carefully hacked and removed in a controlled manner to expose the base surface, allowing the unit to be restored to its original handover condition as specified by the building management. A critical part of this project involved floor hacking and debris management, carried out using safe and well-planned working methods. Our team implemented strict safety procedures and maintained a well-organized work area to ensure site safety and minimize disruption to neighboring tenants within the mall environment. In addition, we conducted a thorough inspection of the exposed surfaces, including verification of floor conditions, wall surfaces, and utility points. This step was essential to ensure that the unit met structural and technical standards before proceeding to the next reinstatement phase and final inspection by the building management. The project was successfully completed on schedule, demonstrating Zoro Interior’s capability to manage reinstatement works in an efficient, organized, and fully compliant manner with building management standards and regulations.
