Project Description

Client: Compass One Location: Singapore

Compass One is one of our retail reinstatement projects, completed to restore the retail unit to its original handover condition before the end of the lease. The project was carried out in accordance with the landlord's reinstatement requirements, ensuring the space was ready for a smooth handover. Our scope of work included dismantling the existing interior fit-out, removing built-in fixtures, restoring walls and ceilings, repairing floor finishes where required, repainting, and reinstating essential M&E services. Every stage of the project was carefully coordinated to ensure all works were completed efficiently while meeting the required standards. Attention to detail was a key focus throughout the reinstatement process. From demolition to final touch-ups, every element was restored neatly to provide a clean and compliant space for the landlord's inspection. Overall, we successfully completed the Compass One retail reinstatement project, delivering a hassle-free lease-end solution that met the client's requirements and the shopping mall's reinstatement guidelines.

The Challenges

One of the main challenges of this project was ensuring that all reinstatement works complied with the shopping mall’s handover requirements. Careful coordination was required throughout the project to complete every stage of work accurately and efficiently.

Another challenge was restoring the space after removing the previous tenant’s fit-out while maintaining a clean finish. Through proper planning and close attention to detail, we delivered a retail unit that was ready for inspection and handover within the required timeline.
